Review: Disgusted by Almat Aviation in Coventry
I have never been treated in such a disgusting and unprofessional manner after purchasing a 2 hour flying lesson with Almat Aviation.

Upon arrival I was greeted by an instructor who informed me that the company in fact double books customers so that one student can sit in the back of the plane for an hour whilst the other takes their lesson and then vice versa.

After agreeing to this without choice, and following a short briefing I sat in the back of the plane for one whole hour whilst another student took her lesson. We then landed and purported to swap over.

Upon landing a rude, obnoxious and quite frankly, arrogant manager, informed me that I would actually only be allowed 30 minutes of flight time. With customers waiting, I was to "quickly" have my flying lesson as a mistake had been made and in actual fact when you pay a ridiculous amount of money to Almat Aviation for a "2 hour flying lesson" they actually mean 30 minutes.

Never have I been treated with such disregard and belittlement and I hope that upon reading this review, Almat Aviation will place some consideration upon their customer relations. The manager was simply not interested in even reasoning with me as through no fault of my own, his company were behind on schedule.

I strongly recommend that people think twice before booking with such an unprofessional company!

Review: A greate place for either a float or multi-engine
I have the pleasure of working with Tom Brady over two consecutive summers. The first was for a float rating the his PA12S off the lake at the back of his home, the other was for a multi-engine rating in is Piper Apache based at Traverse City Airport. A grat instructor with many practical insights on operating both classes of aircraft.

Review: Peninsula is a great place to learn and fly
PAC is a friendly club with a commitment to the youth of the community, provides great training from a good location on the Mornington Peninsula. With low instructor turnover, I have flown both general aviation and recreation aircraft there with a variety of instructors, and have always been pleased with results.

Review: The best flight school
After trying three different schools I decided to give Horizon a try. I finished all of my ratings as promised in less than 3 months. The best customer service, best professional instructors and the oldest airplane on the fleet is a 1998 Cessna 172. Horizon Flight Academy is by far the best flight school!

Review: Student Pilot to CFI
I am a Flight Instructor at ADF Airways. I recieved all my certifications here at ADF (Private, Instrument, Commercial. CFI). The quality of training at ADF is excellent, much higher standards than other flight schools in the South Florida area. The airplanes are regularly maintained and always in great flying condition. I recommend my friends and others intrested in aviation to come visit us at ADF.

Review: Extremely Happy Pilot
I had an excellent PPL experience. In looking for an accelerated course for my PPL, I searched the Internet fairly extensively looking for the “right fit” for me personally and geographically. Being from the east coast, I was at first mainly focused on courses offered near to this side of the country. I noticed that AFIT offered accelerated PPL in a wide variety of locales. I inquired with them about their availability nearby and explained my goals relative to my PPL. They took that information and explained to me, in a way I understood, and they had the perfect instructor for me. They then scheduled me with Cholena near Sacramento, CA. While that was further than I originally anticipated travelling for my PPL, after my conversations and emails with them, I trusted they knew exactly what I was looking for and with whom I should learn. They could not possibly have been more correct!

Cholena is not only an advanced instructor, she is an advanced person. More than merely learning everything I needed to know to pass my written, oral and practical check ride within 14 days from Cholena, I also learned a lot about myself through her excellent manner and insightful comments about my tendencies as a pilot and how to use them to my advantage. Cholena is clearly someone who would excel at absolutely anything she ever decided to do. AFIT is extremely fortunate to have her as an instructor! Anything she ever taught, I would sign up to learn. To that end, AFIT will be hearing from me very soon to continue my training with Cholena to achieve my instrument rating, and then after that my commercial rating. Their tireless help explaining A.F.I.T. to me coupled with Cholena’s mastery of the subject and masterful instruction gently ushered me to a place of great confidence as I start this road as a newly certificated private pilot!

Review: Run by Wayman Aviation
Not a good school. They make you watch a video and they said that is your ground school. No respect for students who pay their bills. I have seen some student being scremed in fromt of everyone by the unprofessional chief pilot ...stay away, do not be fooled
