Skymates has its pluses and minuses. Their aircraft scheduling is easy, plenty of aircraft to utilize, the people behind the counter are very friendly. The minuses are their computer equipment seems to cause them to be task intensive, anything from printing an invoice, getting on schedule, etc. It would be a zoo at times and a 30 min wait to pay your bill or check out a plane is not rare. The PC used to get weather was way slow and many times useless. Their one Seminole aircraft always had something broken in it, mostly avionics and no matter how many times it was sqwaked they wouldn't fix it unless it was something easy like replacing a light. The plane flew for months with one of the engine fuel pressure gages dropping to zero in mid flight, so everybody flew with the fuel pump on, eventually the fuel pump broke too. The flight instructor was always talking too fast and too quiet and when asked to repeat wouldn't slow down. But I've heard good things about the other instructors. It's a hit or miss. But all in all I would recommend it over other schools in the area.
