Beverly Flight Center
Got my PVT there, won't do my instrument there! Watch out for these guys and their "phase checks", they don't trust their instructors so they make you pay for extra lessons where you go out with another instructor and they "phase check" you. I spent an extra 500 bucks on that nonsense! There owner is pretty cool, good guy, but there are some rude ignorant staff at this place that aren't knowledgable about the regs, but try to impose their will on you anyway. They seem to get most of their business from the local college, so I guess that's why they figure they can be so rude to people (lots of "captive" customers). Rental is expensive, watch out for the fuel surcharge, they don't advertise that. The planes aren't all that good, spent a lot of time trying to find a plane with everything working on it, much better fleet for the same price at Bedford.
