| Review: | Truth about Dean International Flight School Years ago, Dean International was a very well respected flight school. The instructors were very friendly and Mr. Dean was very much part of the school environment. What I see now is that the school has lowered its standards regarding who comes to the school and who doesn't. I find it very sad that once us, the old students and renters, took care of those planes (no headsets on top of the panel, placed all shields to protect the plane from the sun, kept them clean, etc.) Nowadays it's a shame to see how badly treated these planes are. My understanding is that the high abuse is due to the Indian students training at the school. They do not take care of the planes and do not care since they are just there to train and leave. One day this flock of students will no longer be there and the old school of pilots that loved to rent planes from Dean will migrate to other places (there are several other places that rent planes in very nice condition.) Dean, what a shame that you have let the students run down your assets. |

I find it very disheartening to read that the gentlemen solely blames the Indian students for the dropping standards of a school..Dean is an international school where ppl from all over the world come over to learn flying and its inappropriate to blame only Indian students..I wish all best to the school. |
