Review: very bad
The people at Phill-Air aren't honest, the training is very poor, the planes are in terrible shape, and the cost is not competitive (it's in the middle of Dover, Delaware, yet they charge big city prices!). If you are looking for good flight training for your private pilot license (or otherwise), my advice: stay away from this school!!!

Review: DO NOT GO HERE!!!!
These people are dishonest and the training is dangerous. The "training" you will receive at Phill-Air will be inadequate and will make you a dangerous pilot. They don't care whether you're learning, as long as you're paying. And they will constantly be looking for ways to extort more money out of you, and they will do it using sneaky, dishonest tactics. I began my training here, and upon learning of all of this, I decided to go to another school over an hour away (I was living in Dover, Delaware, which is less than 5 miles away from Phill-Air and I opted for a school over 50 miles away!), and I did this half way through my Private Pilot training at Phill-Air, so I lost a lot of money switching (due to getting up to speed with a new instructor and new airport), but it was still worth it!!!!!!! That should tell you all you need to know. Bottom line, these people are utterly unprofessional, they will trick you into spending more money than you need to (all while telling you what a great deal you're getting -- btw, compare prices before starting with them, contrary to what they will tell you, they are NOT price-competitive, even with bigger airports in bigger cities). All of this will make you a bad pilot and you will have wasted a lot of money on this sub-standard training. I couldn't be happier with my new school. Don't make the same mistake I did -- it will cost you a lot, possibly your future airplane or worse...
