Ace Aviation 18 years ago I purchased a share in a DC3. After turning 60 years old, I had to retire from airline flying and so was able to finally get checked out on the DC3. "Got any tail dragger time?" enquired the Chief Pilot, "yes" I replied "70 hours - on Chipmunks". "And when was that?" continued the Chief pilot, "in 1969" I answered, "well, it might be a good idea to get some more taildragger hours in..." came the reply. So I came down to Ace Aviation and got rated on the Maule. Great instruction, great flying - I did the "farm strip" and "mountain flying" courses too. I can thoroughly recommend this flying training school. Regards, Adrian Gilbert, 17,000 hour ex B747 pilot. |
