| Review: | Excellent flight schools This is an aeroclub with one of the largest training schools in Asia. It is professionally run and a high standard is expected from its students. The club trains its own instructors which are selected from the pilots that they have trained. Most of the senior instructors have been with the club and aviation acadamy for many years and are professional instructors. The club has two examiners on staff and also there own engineering department. The aircraft are most 1970s and 1980s Piper aircraft that are maintained to excellent standards, there is also an increasing number of new aircraft complete with flatpanel displays. I learned to fly here about 10 years ago and continue to use the aeroclub due to its friendly and staff an great selection of aircraft (incl 4 twins). I would recommend this flight school to anyone who wants to learn to fly in New Zealand. The south island of NZ must be one of the most beautiful places on earth. Comments [ 0 ] |
