Review: Worst flying school in Canada
My worst experience in a flying school.

The school publishes misleading information about the number of instructors, Fleet of Aircrafts, facilities conditions. Advertising information with tendency of deceiving and misleading students.

Evidence:

3539 - PACIFIC AVIATION ACADEMY OF BRITISH COLUMBIA

Registration suspended on Mar 15, 2011. New enrolments are restricted.

Registration Suspended

If an institution’s PCTIA Registration is suspended, the institution may no longer recruit or enrol new students until the suspension is lifted by PCTIA. Current students may continue to study and complete their programs. Reasons for a registration suspension may be administrative or financial in nature me or may be related to program offerings, such as offering an unapproved program.

Review: Total Loss
I am a parent and had sent my child to this Flight School. I was very disappointed by the progress, constant breakdowns and lack of any classes. The thing that really hurt me was that the owner Jeet Mandair was harassing my child for money even with a positive balance of more than $8000. He sent very notorious e-mails to me, humiliated my child in school. I felt so helpless and just hoped that we could get over with this school as fast as possible.

Review: We'll Make YOU a DEAL!
Pacific Aviation or just PAA is owned by an east-Indian fellow who has come to Canada as he FAILED to accomplish anything is his own land. He has learned that contracts can get him cash. He targets little kids and gives them candy (of death), makes promises he can't keep and always a DEAL. He has a very good staff who are always willing to help students anything. The quality and standard of training is definitely to the Canadian standard.
My advise is to not sign anything until you are certain of what you are doing and also not to pay ANY cash upfront to ANY flight school. Please visit this Transport Canada Website on finding a flight school

Review: Learn to fly in a reasonable price.
For those students who has financial problems but wanted to learn to fly, I'll recommend this school as the cost of the course is not so high yet it's reasonable. The instructors in this school are very friendly and they will always be there for you in any times no matter if it's weekdays or weekends. They provided a house to stay and a vehicle for school purposes :)

Review: Cost-effective
For the cost that you pay,the training is pretty good. You can fly like 3 times a week at least and the plane is maintained right on time. The airplane might not be the best-looking plane but it will do the job for your training. Instructors are good and will always be there for your training no matter weekdays or weekends. This is not the best school because Im sure there might be better school with better facilities, but for the price you pay it's not that bad. Overall, the flight training here is quite good.
